BREE

The German heritage accessories brand was a bit out of touch with the accessories world and needed a new face.
I started as Creative Director / Head of Design. Restructuring the collection starting from Design, new materials, new factories and most of all a new overall concept for the overall design and also marketing.
Bringing back the heritage material- a natural tanned cowhide in a soft and rigid version is still until today the best selling collection of the Brand in terms of sales figures and margins.
In terms of design launching design codes for the brand- looking at heritage shapes an renewing them and adding modern new shapes.
Winning an IF design award in 2014 for the bag KIEL and another fashion design award at the accessories fair in Offenbach, Germany in 2013 for the bag ANTIBES.
The goal of my work at BREE was bringing the brand back to good design and quality, with eco friendly materials and a European production for min 50% of the collection.
In 2019 I worked as Freelance Consultant for the Small leathergoods collection again for BREE.
